Job Summary

We are a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform seeking a highly skilled Global Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Pepperstone. Our company culture is ever-evolving, vibrant, diverse, global, and results-focused.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ongoing enhancement of our global transaction reporting responsibilities. This includes ensuring that our reporting is precise, prompt, and compliant with various jurisdictions. You will take charge of incorporating new reporting providers and play a vital role in refining our existing control frameworks.

Your expertise will be crucial in fostering compliance and driving innovation within the team, ensuring seamless operations as we adapt to changing regulations. You will work closely with our Legal and Compliance teams to keep our processes robust and current.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Pepperstone meets its global transaction reporting obligations through diligent processing and monitoring.
  • Take the lead in integrating new transaction reporting providers seamlessly.
  • Offer specialized analytical support to regulatory change initiatives, including the coordination of testing efforts.
  • Monitor and refine the team's processes and controls to guarantee ongoing compliance with regulations, collaborating closely with our Legal and Compliance Departments on interpretations related to regulatory changes and reporting.
  • Strengthen the control framework surrounding our existing transaction reporting processes.
  • Conduct and document regular reconciliations to uphold accuracy.
  • Manage the transaction reporting relationship with third-party vendors effectively.
  • Provide timely and precise Management Information (MI) to Technology and Compliance leadership.
  • Prepare and distribute management reports and incident documentation.

About You

  • You have an in-depth understanding of transaction reporting operations.
  • You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with EMIR, MiFIR, and ASIC derivatives transaction reporting.
  • You are proficient in interpreting regulatory rule changes and aligning them with requirements.
  • You have a solid working knowledge of OTC Derivative products.
  • You have demonstrated success in process enhancements and project execution.
  • You have excellent communication and organizational abilities, essential for collaborating with both local and remote Technology, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders.
  • You hold current full working rights in Australia.
