Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product & Underwriting Analyst to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our pet insurance products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Lead the development of new pet insurance products, including pricing, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  • Underwriting: Develop and implement underwriting strategies to ensure the profitability and sustainability of our pet insurance products.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze insurance portfolio data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Commercial Acumen: Apply your commercial skills to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks in financial services.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in pet insurance, with a focus on product development, underwriting, portfolio management, pricing, or claims.
  • Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a knack for interpreting complex data. High commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of business processes and operational challenges. Working knowledge of legislative and compliance frameworks in financial services.
