Business Intelligence Specialist

About the role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Strategic Research and Analytics team within our Infrastructure group on an open term basis.

The Business Intelligence Specialist will provide critical support to our Global Infrastructure funds and strategies by delivering high-quality investment reporting and analytical services.

This role forms part of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) with key responsibilities for coordinating the preparation of Infrastructure collateral including commentary, data, and analytics information as a critical input into investor and PMG deliverables.

The Business Intelligence Specialist will also assist with day-to-day research activities and support the broader team as needed.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly market reports and insights for regular client engagement.
  • Work with the investor relations team and other members of GI to help manage proposals, responses to RFPs, due diligence questions, and marketing materials.
  • Assist with the coordination of projects and new initiatives across GI while demonstrating strong project management practices.
  • Maintain and use strategic portfolio models, including interacting with asset operating models and asset managers for the relevant data.
  • Manage quarterly updates for the Client Portfolio Reviews.

About You:

You will present with a collaborative work style and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment in an open and transparent manner. You will be able to proactively engage with various stakeholders in order to seek out and obtain key information used in reporting.

You will also present with:

  • Relevant experience within the investment/funds management industry.
  • Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, and/or Law.
  • Keen interest in working in infrastructure and developing a deep understanding of the asset class.
  • Research capabilities, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative with an eye for detail and improving processes, practices, and deliverables.
  • Collaborative approach with a desire to work as a team and assist others.
  • Strong project management and organisation skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
