About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fish Filleters to join our team in Canning Vale. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for slicing, filleting, portioning, cleaning, deboning, and trimming fresh fish to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Slicing and Filleting: Prepare fresh fish for processing by slicing, filleting, and portioning to meet customer requirements.
  • Quality Control: Report any concerns over the quality or yield of produce to your supervisor and assist with quality inspections to ensure the highest standards are met.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and condition of slicing equipment, including knives and tools, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have experience in a fish filleting fresh food processing environment.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a wet, cold environment with seafood and/or meat, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: No specific qualifications required, but a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly are essential.
