Our brands include, KB Seafood Co, Just Caught Frozen Seafood, KB’s, and we have over 2,700 active products in the market.

We are currently seeking experienced Fish Filleters to join our busy team in Canning Vale on Full Time employment. The hours of this role will be Monday to Friday from 05:00am to 01:06pm plus additional hours that are reasonable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Slicing, filleting, portioning, cleaning, deboning, trimming fresh fish.
  • Report to supervisor on any concerns over the quality or yield of produce.
  • Assist with Quality Inspection of product and ongoing maintenance of stock rotation.
  • Always working to a high standard of Safe Food handling practices.
  • Working within a cold temperature environment.
  • Maintaining a consistently clean workstation.
  • Maintain quality and cleanliness of slicing equipment i.e., Knives kept sharp and clean, tools kept clean and in good condition.

To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong work ethic
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment in cold temperatures
  • Flexible hands-on work attitude and a good level of physical fitness
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Sound understanding of all WH&S Protocols

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have experience within fish filleting Fresh Food Processing environment.
  • Must have experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood and/or meat
  • Attention to detail in a high-pressure environment
  • Assisting the filleting and processing team with various other duties
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Available to start work immediately
