About Our Youth Support Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people through guidance, support and skill-building.

The role will involve supporting after-school activities such as bike repair, group cycling, life skills workshops and cultural connection sessions with First Nations Elders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing targeted support to at-risk young people to engage more effectively with education, employment readiness programs and broader community initiatives
  • Promoting stronger connections to family and community networks
  • Supporting young persons by encouraging positive decision-making and providing consistent support to disengaged or justice-involved young people
About You:

Requirements:

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate (or the ability to obtain)
  • A current minimum P1 'C' class Queensland drivers licence
  • Roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
