Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a presenter/producer for the drive program.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your presenting skills and work collaboratively with the local program team and the highly successful ABC team.

The Role
  • Create engaging multi-platform content for local and national audiences.
  • Develop and present compelling stories that reflect Australia's diversity.
  • Contribute to planning and commissioning new ideas.
  • Support studio production and manage callers/guests.
  • Assist with emergency coverage and stakeholder communication.
  • Share local content across teams and cross-promote content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in journalism or a related field.
  • Strong program making and presentation skills across audio and cross-platform content.
  • Advanced editorial skills with sound judgement and information analysis.
  • Deep understanding of issues affecting audiences.
  • Passion for storytelling that reflects Australia's diversity.
  • Ability to source and maintain broad community contacts.
  • Commitment to authentic content representing cultural, linguistic, and Indigenous diversity.
