We are looking for full-time and part-time Registered Midwives to work alongside a highly trained team of neonatal nurses and midwives.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a Post-natal setting, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experience.
As a Registered Midwife at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, working across the Birth Unit and Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis.
Our dedicated maternity educator will provide ongoing support and upskilling opportunities, ensuring your success in this role.
Located within the prestigious Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, we collaborate closely with Sydney Children's Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women, and Prince of Wales (public) Hospital – offering a dynamic and progressive environment.

Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to women and their families
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to mothers and their families
- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
- Basic computer skills
