Job Description

You will be part of a high-performance team working across a wide range of technologies. Your role will involve:

Main Responsibilities
  • System Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, services, and standard software using customised toolsets; deploy solutions in line with organisational standards and project requirements.
  • User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide deskside support for applications, Citrix environments, printing and LRS issues; assist with data backup and recovery; carry out troubleshooting and fault remediation activities.
  • Account and Directory Services: Create and maintain Active Directory (AD) account types, ensuring proper access and user management.
  • Process and Documentation Management: Create, update, and amend process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to support operations and end-user guidance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with users and key business stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise and resolving technical issues and user requests.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Coupled with education and/or experience, you have exposure to some of the below tools and methodologies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated high-level skill with Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office, Teams, Skype for Business, desktop and laptop hardware (HP, Dell), Cisco phones, and iOS mobility solutions.
  • Infrastructure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365 (O365), Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and LRS systems.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
  • Systems Management Tools: Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Ivanti for device and software management.
  • ITIL Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their application within IT service management.
