As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving initiatives with a strong scientific focus and supporting other projects where veterinary consultancy adds value.

The Royal Canin Scientific Services Veterinarian delivers accurate and consistent scientific messaging at seminars, events, and conferences to stakeholders such as customers, veterinarians, breeders, and university students.

  • Develop and lead initiatives that advance the company's scientific expertise and reputation.
  • Support the development of marketing, education, and training materials targeted at key audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in scientific content.
  • Engage with media to educate audiences on pet nutrition and build relationships with influential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Key qualifications include:

  • Degree in Veterinary Science and current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of QLD.
  • Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience with a strong network of veterinary specialists and professionals in Queensland.
  • A personable individual who enjoys educating, helping others learn, and building relationships.
  • Confident presenter and speaker across diverse audiences.
  • Commercially minded planner capable of prioritizing workload and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Motivated, with initiative and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in computer skills, preferably with experience in Microsoft Teams.
