The opportunity
">We have an opening for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in Yarraville. As a key member, you will support the State Inventory Manager in achieving set goals and establish relationships with other functional areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
">- Liaising with State Inventory Manager, Distribution Centre Manager, Despatch Staff, Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Staff to ensure order preparation and loading is accurate, efficient and completed in a timely manner.
- Assisting to implement process improvements and best practice work methods.
- Managing all inventory control processes and procedures to agreed KPI targets.
- Reconciling inventory count discrepancies in a timely manner.
About you
">We are looking for someone with:
">- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an inventory control position.
- A track record of success managing and implementing agreed change processes.
- Experience with planning systems including MRP and warehouse management systems.
- Demonstrated ability in solving problems by using root cause analysis.
- Able to drive a Tug - training provided.
