Omni-Fulfilment Centre Operations Manager

The Omni-Fulfilment Centre is seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Professional to oversee the operation of its world-class facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports both employees and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety: Work with Team Leaders and Zone Managers to ensure safe work practices are followed, driving towards zero LTIs and MTIs.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of all MHE and wheeled equipment, ensuring any damages are reported and actioned immediately.
- Security: Ensure security, contractor performance, and MHE operations comply with senior management directives, customer requirements, and business expectations.
- Project Management: Prepare documentation for tenders and manage procurement processes for contractors, lead project management activities, including supervision and coordination of contractor works on site.
- Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety policies and legislative requirements.
- Previous experience in maintenance and security operations.
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state security law requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical refrigeration and thermodynamics (HVAC).
- Familiarity with electrical codes to effectively supervise electrical contractors.
