About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing best practice secure cloud environments and ensuring the security of our Azure tenancies.

You will work closely with our security engineering lead and other teams to shape this role and take full ownership of the security aspects of our Azure tenancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement best practice secure cloud environments
  • Ensure the security of our Azure tenancies
  • Collaborate with other teams to shape this role and take full ownership
  • Drive security assessments and lead the conversation about cloud security
  • Implement strong controls and assure documentation and policy requirements are met
About You

We are looking for a candidate with strong cloud engineering and security experience in Azure. You should have worked in a complex and fast-moving environment and be proficient across cloud security best practice.

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience with CSPM, RBAC, and MFA
  • Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
  • Experience with security automation, scripting, and designing and implementing best practice
