About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mercedes Benz Light Vehicle Technician to join our team at James Frizelle's Automotive Group, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, professional servicing, repairs, and maintenance for our customers' vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine servicing on customer vehicles, as well as our own fleet and equipment, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Perform defect repair work across various vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of job cards and client-specific paperwork, documenting repairs, servicing, and identified defects.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to established work health and safety standards, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Requirements for the Role:
- Residency in Australia.
- Light vehicle mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills, ensuring high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
