Payroll Officer Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned payroll professional to undertake accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing, maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and EBAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and EBAs
  • Provide timely and accurate payroll advice to employees and stakeholders
  • Manage and reconcile payroll-related accounts and payments
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other payroll reports
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors and government bodies

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll position
  • Experience with large payroll systems
  • Excellent understanding of EBAs and Awards
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

This is a full-time permanent role offering a flexible working environment. Training and support will be provided to ensure you have the tools to succeed in this role.
