Cook - Wondunna

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Star of the Sea LDC & Kindy. As a permanent part-time Cook, you will work 3 days a week, preparing healthy and balanced meals for children from babies to kindergarten age.

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks that meet the dietary requirements and preferences of our children.
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional guidelines set by the centre and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, managing kitchen supplies and inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to create meal plans and menus that promote healthy eating habits.
• Engage with children in a friendly and positive manner, promoting a love for healthy food.

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in a childcare or similar setting.
• Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Certification in Food Handling and Safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
