Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Digital & Social Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and managing digital content across various platforms, growing the program's digital audience and engagement, and innovating the way 60 Minutes content is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and writing articles for the 60 Minutes website
  • Managing 60 Minutes' digital presence across on and off network platforms
  • Evaluating and reporting on the success of digital content
  • Strategic thinking to ensure 60 Minutes is ahead of the curve, growing new audiences

Requirements:

  • A journalism degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience on a news or current affairs program or website
  • Advanced writing skills, with a developed understanding of defamation law and social media moderation
  • Strong working knowledge of video products in digital media (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, Shorts etc)
