Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of Watchhouse facilities, encompassing administrative tasks, supervision and monitoring of individuals in custody as well as visitors to these premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate records and operating electronic surveillance systems relevant to the Watchhouse.
  • Processing prisoner files and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Coordinating the intake process for persons received into custody.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare, comfort and security of prisoners.
  • Capturing and documenting prisoners' health requirements and monitoring their medical needs.
Requirements
  • Possession of an Open C Class Drivers Licence is mandatory.
  • The position requires working a shift work rotational roster, including 24-hour and 7-day shifts.
