The Clearance Broker is a crucial role that ensures seamless and compliant international shipment movements through customs and regulatory processes.
You will collaborate closely with customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.
- End-to-end customs clearance for import and export shipments, ensuring local and international regulations are met.
- Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.
- Resolve customs-related issues, provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, and proactively resolve clearance issues.
- Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for timely and efficient clearance.
- Minimum three years of work experience in Customs.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance.
- Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portal.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proven expertise in planning & organizing, with strong accuracy & attention to detail.
