Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to provide support to individuals with complex needs or those requiring additional assistance to live independently.
- Provide support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies, or accompanying individuals to appointments
- Support individuals in achieving their goals by developing skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting
- Assist people with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection through socialising and outings
- Help individuals maintain connections to their family, friends, and services
- Support with aspects of personal care where required
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) advantageous
- Previous experience working in a SIL environment or supporting people with complex disabilities highly regarded
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers
- Capacity to meet physical requirements for manual handling tasks
- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality
- Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook
- An open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
