A successful Dental Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling patient exams and treatment.
  • Coordinating referral appointments with community specialists.
  • Responding to phone calls and addressing patient inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring timely insurance verification and eligibility for each patient.
  • Entering patient insurance information into practice management software, including any special requirements or limitations.
  • Maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL).

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working independently.
  • Dentrix or other Dental Practice Management Software experience preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant practical experience preferred.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth.
  • A very professional appearance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and in-depth knowledge of dentistry.
