We are seeking an Orthodontic Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

The role involves procuring clinical records, assisting clinicians through the consultation process, and guiding patients through treatment plans. It also requires strong organisational and communication skills with a patient-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome new patients and assist clinicians through the consultation process
  • Collaborate with Orthodontists, Practice Manager, clinic staff, and patients to ensure efficient, positive experiences
  • Present treatment plans and financial agreements
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-up communications with patients
  • Liaise between patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reporting

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator within a dental practice is essential, with a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)
  • Experience with dental software is a must
