For a dynamic professional, this role presents the opportunity to grow your career and make a significant impact on a global company's success. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in the Australian hospitality market.

This position involves identifying and engaging with key stakeholders in the industry, influencing sales strategies, and proactively generating leads through targeted initiatives. You will also have the chance to showcase the company's technology to prospective clients, highlighting its key features and benefits.

Your primary objective is to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless delivery of solutions and client satisfaction. Additionally, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to meet and exceed revenue targets, making regular progress reports and adjusting strategies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with pubs, clubs, cafes, and other hospitality venues in Adelaide through strategic market engagement
  • Influence and execute the Australian sales strategy in collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calling and networking initiatives
  • Showcase the company's technology to prospective clients, highlighting key features and benefits
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and success
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline through our CRM system, regularly reporting progress and forecasts
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and client satisfaction
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets set by the Chief Commercial Officer, with regular reporting and strategy adjustments to ensure goals are met

You will bring:

Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including exceptional written and verbal communication
  • A proven track record in business development, particularly within the hospitality sector. Experience in IT and SaaS is highly desirable
  • The ability to articulate product differentiators and demonstrate value-added problem-solving
  • Able to foster and develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Familiarity with POS systems and an understanding of the hospitality market dynamics
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence, and an ability to influence and affect change
