Parental Support Professional

This role is focused on empowering parents to achieve their goals and aspirations. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide supportive services to help parents navigate the complexities of education and employment.

The ParentsNext program aims to assist parents with young children in planning and preparing for future study or work opportunities. As a Parental Support Professional, you will be responsible for working closely with parents to identify their needs and develop strategies to overcome any obstacles they may face.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with participants to create personalized plans tailored to their unique needs and goals
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess progress and make adjustments as necessary
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local service providers to facilitate referrals and support
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to relevant policies and procedures

Requirements for Success:

  • Passion for supporting parents in achieving their educational and employment objectives
  • Experience in community services or employment services is highly desirable
  • Ability to build strong networks and stay informed about local resources that can aid participants in overcoming barriers to employment
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and technical skills
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
