Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive solutions to enhance the AusNet network and its impact on customers.
- Lead strategic planning processes to assess network capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement network solutions, manage delivery of current and emerging non-network solutions.
- Advanced commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and understanding of regulatory models and new technologies are essential in driving network success.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification and experience in Engineering, with expertise in electricity network planning and asset management.
- Proficiency in using electricity network analysis tools or relevant software and interpreting results. Proficiency programming in languages such as Python is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously from conception to implementation.
- Sound knowledge of National Electricity Rules, energy markets, and relevant laws, regulations, rules, licences, and agreements.
- Understanding of primary plant, network protection, and control devices, with experience in functional design, testing, and commissioning of special protection schemes and remedial action schemes being highly desirable.
