Job Description

Value NSW is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Valuer to join their team. As a Graduate Valuer, you will develop skills to become a qualified Valuer and contribute to the valuation system for rating and taxing as well as compulsory acquisition compensation purposes.

The role involves working with various teams within Value NSW to gain a wide breadth of training and learning experiences. You will be responsible for undertaking and assisting with providing professional, expert and authoritative property and valuation information and technical expertise that is consistent with legislation, policy and community standards and expectations.

  • Develop skills to become a qualified Valuer
  • Contribute to the valuation system for rating and taxing as well as compulsory acquisition compensation purposes
  • Work with various teams within Value NSW to gain a wide breadth of training and learning experiences
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Student Member or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute
  • Completion of, or undertaking, qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements to apply for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute -noting that any qualification being undertaken must be completed or be eligible for completion by end of 2025.
  • Strong communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to achieve results through the efficient use of resources and a commitment to quality outcomes
  • Deliver on outcomes that are transparent, objective, on time and in accordance with relevant requirements
