Deli Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented team member to provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality food products, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables for package sale and use in assembled products.
  • Assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads to meet customer demands.
  • Cook chickens and ribs in commercial rotisserie ovens and prepare them for display.
  • Operate automated wrapping machines to package and label products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health regulations and safety procedures.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies in the prep area and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Count product on hand, calculate production needs, and document production on daily forms.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
