About the Role

Mutual Trust is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including preparation of compliance documents, client administration, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of compliance documents, including tax returns, financial statements, and activity statements.
  • Client administration and document management.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, including cash flow statements for Indigenous Trusts.
  • Liaising with third parties, including auditors, the ATO, and client advisers.
  • Completing assigned tasks within deadlines and time budgets.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for client matters.
About You
  • 3+ years of experience in Professional Services or Private Practice.
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or Commerce, with a willingness to have commenced CA/CPA studies.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and external bodies effectively.
