Sulzer is a pioneer in industry, with a proud heritage of innovation and a commitment to evolving for the future. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our Services_APAC team within the Services division in Australia.

About the Role

As an Electrical Fitter, you will be accountable for the inspection, repair, and overhaul of electro-mechanical equipment, including High, Medium, and Low Voltage electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment. You will also be responsible for rewinding electric motors and generators, controlling the flow of jobs through the Department, and attending onsite to effectively conduct repair of rotating equipment.

Requirements

  • Trade Certificate level III in Electrical Fitting; Electrical Machine Repair; or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in repair and overhaul of High/Medium/Low voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery
  • Strong communication skills
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • High-level skills in time management
