Electrical Fitter - Full Time

At Sulzer, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our Services_APAC team in Australia. As a pioneer in industry, we're committed to innovation and evolution. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your expertise and build solutions that make a real impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, repairing, and overhauling electro-mechanical equipment, including high, medium, and low-voltage electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
  • Rewinding electric motors and generators.
  • Controlling the flow of jobs through the Department, including scheduling, priorities, progress updates, and productivity.
  • Attending onsite to effectively conduct repair of rotating equipment.
  • Attending onsite to effectively conduct repair of electrical rotating equipment.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Trade Certificate level III in Electrical Fitting, Electrical Machine Repair, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in repair and overhaul of high/medium/low-voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High-level problem-solving skills.
  • High-level skills in time management.
