Job Summary: Synaco by Synergie is seeking experienced Civil Road Construction Labourers and Roller Operators to join our team in the Wide-Bay Burnett Region.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the operation of heavy machinery and equipment on civil road construction projects.
  • Perform manual labour tasks such as clearing and grubbing, realignment, pavement reconstruction, and earthworks.
  • Direct traffic through worksites and assist with general labouring duties.
  • Operate company vehicles used in road working.

Responsibilities:

  • Clearing and grubbing of vegetation and debris.
  • Realignment of roads and pavements.
  • Pavement reconstruction and maintenance.
  • Earthworks and embankment widening.
  • Improvements to property access and intersection improvements.
  • Drainage works and signage and line marking.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in civil road construction.
  • White card and drivers licence.
  • Roller machinery operator tickets.
  • Full PPE and reliable transport to and from the work location.
  • Physically fit and able to pass a drug and alcohol test, pre-employment medical, and/or police check.

Desirable:

  • HRW Licence - Dogman Ticket.
  • Previous pipe-laying experience.
