
Heavy Duty Mining Lubrication Expert

This role is focused on providing technical support for lubricant solutions. With over 120 years of innovation and technology leadership, we develop, manufacture, distribute, and market advanced lubricating oils, electric vehicle (EV) fluids, greases, and provide service and maintenance offers to customers across the globe.
We aim to keep the world moving by continually evolving to respond quickly to our customers, competitors, and markets. This position involves regular travel primarily across Mackay/Central QLD with a company car provided.
Please note that all employees must be Permanent Residents or Citizens of Australia or New Zealand.
- Lubricant Performance Assessment: Conduct site visits in Bowen Basin to assess lubricant performance in critical mining equipment.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Support projects aligned with customer maintenance strategies.
- Product Management: Manage changes in product ranges and lubricant recommendations.
- Lubricant Storage Audit: Audit lubricant storage facilities and provide AS1940 level reporting (training provided).
- Sales Support: Aid sales teams in driving additional sales and growing product ranges.
- Tech Support: Provide technical support for achieving cost reductions and value improvement projects.
- Lubricant Advice: Offer lubricant technical advice for current and future mining needs.
- Product Recommendations: Manage strategic product recommendations and handle quality complaints.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 Years' Experience: In Field Service, Lubricants technical support, Reliability engineering, or Mechanical engineering within Heavy-Duty sectors, preferably in mining environments.
- Lubricant Knowledge: Solid understanding of lubricants or heavy-duty mining equipment.
- Safety Focus: Ability to prioritize safety in high-risk environments.
- Representative Skills: Proven ability to represent the company externally and engage with senior management of multinational customers.
- Strategic Planning: Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic business plans for lubricant usage in mining environments.
- Autonomous Work: Capability to work autonomously on regional QLD mine sites with hands-on approach.
- Industry Background: Background in mining, maintenance, and/or lubricants industries.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
