Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Security Policies and Standards: Develop and implement robust security policies and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and data.
  • Design and Implement Security Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive security strategies to address identified risks and continuously improve our cloud security posture.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with our engineering teams to provide expertise and ensure robust security practices across AWS, Azure, and OCI clouds, in compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other security frameworks.
  • Manage and Maintain Infrastructure: Manage and maintain internal and external infrastructure, tools, and services to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable operation.
  • Coordinate Security Incidents: Coordinate the investigation, management, and response to all security incidents.
  • Evaluate Technology Vendors: Evaluate and assess technology vendors and their solutions to ensure they meet our security standards.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing processes to enhance our cloud security posture.
  • Document Security Practices: Create and update technical documentation, including diagrams, guidelines, and best practices, to ensure our security practices are well-documented and easily accessible.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience in Security Architecture: Possess extensive experience in a security architect role with a focus on business engagement or customer-facing activities.
  • Expert-Level Knowledge in Cloud Security: Have expert-level knowledge in designing secure architectures and patterns, with a strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Standards: Be knowledgeable in privacy management and handling controls for sensitive data, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Have hands-on experience in securing cloud environments across AWS or Azure, with other clouds being an advantage.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Possess cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, which are an advantage.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Have excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to autonomously take on accountability for complex work.
