About the Role:
As an Evidence-Based Mental Health Therapist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate therapy groups independently while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote safe and excellent care to patients within the service.
• Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning, monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment accordingly.
• Develop and maintain effective discharge planning for patients to ensure smooth transition between inpatient and outpatient services.
• Liaise with other SJOG services or other relevant external services to support smooth transition between inpatient and outpatient services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in mental health, providing evidenced-based treatment, including ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR or Schema Therapy.
• Experience in providing evidence-based treatment.
• Tertiary qualification in Social Work (ideally with mental health accreditation), Occupational Therapy or Psychology and hold registration with the relevant professional body (AASW - eligible or general AHPRA).
