We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Transition Specialist. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to transition into mental health nursing with the support of a dedicated clinical educator.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in general nursing and a passion for working with people with mental illness. They will be required to work on a rotating shift roster and be flexible in their approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning and knowledge of mental health nursing care and practice.
- Liaise and negotiate with consumers, carers, family members, and other professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for patients.
About You
- You must be a Division 1 Registered Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- You must have Australian working rights (Visa holders please upload your visa and passport with your application).
- You must be willing to undergo a Background Check.
