Android Software Engineer Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and testing complex Android applications using Java and the Android SDK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing high-quality Android software products with efficient code structure.
  • Identifying bugs, creating tests, and implementing solutions to improve overall product quality.
  • Translating designs and wireframes into well-structured, readable code.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized codebase, automating processes when possible.
  • Participating in architecture discussions and contributing to technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Four years of experience in software development.
  • Three years of Android Development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience working with Android SDK components: Activities, Fragments, Intents, Layouts.
  • Familiarity with general mobile software design patterns, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of REST/JSON/XML Web services.
  • Experience with jQuery or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of XML, XSL, XSLT.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
