Software Integration Specialist

The role of Software Integration Professional is a crucial position within our organization. It involves the integration, deployment and maintenance of software elements across all programs.
This professional will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of software components using various architectures and models. They will also work closely with the platform cyber security team to implement systems-security engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate software elements across all programs
- Deploy and maintain software components
- Implement systems-security engineering
- Support C4I capability through systems engineering
- Update and maintain relevant engineering artefacts
- Provide technical input and guidance to stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Relevant industry or domain work experience
Experience:
- Proficient experience in software integration, deployment and maintenance
- Proficient experience in integrating software running on both Windows and Linux
- Proficient experience in hardening software on both Windows and Linux
- Desirable experience in integrating software running in a system with strong security, safety and human factor engineering requirements
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven ability to manage relationships and resolve disputes effectively
- Meticulous approach to work with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet organizational needs
- Knowledge of Australian Standard for Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON)
- Ability to innovate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
