Our organization is seeking an accomplished Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a crucial role in creating accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates.

This position will be ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical systems and LV and HV networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare precise and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects across the waste water and water sector
  • Analysis of design, specifications and technical documentation to identify scope, materials, labour and cost requirements
  • To establish key relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and assess lead times
  • To coordinate and submit detailed tenders, bids and formal proposals in line with project deadlines
  • Supporting operations teams with monitoring program, budget forecasts and risk assessments
  • To identify innovation and value engineering solutions and efficiency improvements
  • To build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator
  • Educational qualification in Electrical Engineering or trade background in electrical systems
  • Experience working within the civil construction or utilities sector with a proven track record preparing accurate estimates for utilities/infrastructure projects
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept at driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture
