We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced transport infrastructure project manager to lead our team in delivering major projects in Queensland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and take on a leadership role in managing complex transport infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-profile projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with extensive experience in project management, particularly in the transport sector. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, as well as a minimum of 4 years of technical experience in pavement engineering, with knowledge of Australian standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver complex transport infrastructure projects, including large-scale road and rail infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome any challenges that may arise during project delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of technical experience in pavement engineering, with knowledge of Australian standards and practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with hands-on experience in managing complex projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
