Human Resources Adviser Job Description

The Human Resources Adviser will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective induction programs, developing and administering human resource strategies, creating occupational health and safety initiatives, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting departmental managers in creating training plans and recommending suitable training programs;
  • Developing and overseeing human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations;
  • Creating and establishing occupational health and safety programs to maintain a safe work environment;
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through the design and implementation of new policies and regulations;
  • Coordinating onboard training for new employees and collaborating with external partners to ensure compliance with statutory requirements;

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, in-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. They will also have outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, strong leadership and people management skills, and the capacity to lead and support organizational change and transformation initiatives.

In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, the successful candidate will require at least 2+ years of prior work experience in HR management or related roles, proficiency in resolving workplace conflicts, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all HR matters.
