Early Childhood Educator Trainee Role

This trainee position in early childhood education and care is an excellent opportunity for individuals to build foundational knowledge and experience within the sector.

The centre leadership team will provide ongoing support, guidance, and best practice advice on industry requirements, ensuring a sense of belonging and facilitating understanding of key frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring children are constantly supervised according to regulations
  • Engaging with children to support their learning and development
  • Participating in arrival and settling in routines to address separation anxiety according to service policy
  • Attending to children's physical developmental needs
  • Contributing to planning and delivery of early childhood curriculum based on NLF, NQS, and VEYLDF

Candidates will work closely with supervisors and team leaders to program plan by undertaking observations, planning activities, reflecting, and evaluating them in accordance with NQS and VEYLDF.
