Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining security processes and practices to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create customised testing methodologies and testing templates to ensure effective risk mitigation.
  • Map, test and document processes of assigned controls and identify main control components within that end-to-end process, raising issues as appropriate and performing issue closure validation to sustainably remediate risks.
  • Review and recommend effective security of information systems and networks, in accordance with applicable legislation and aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure assigned control assessments are delivered on time, in accordance with the assessment plan.
  • Identify activities operating without a key control defined and the associated risk.
  • Ensure agreed information security processes are implemented, monitored and reviewed regularly to meet regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
  • Track technology and cyber-related audit findings and respond timely to address Information Security audit action items.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance of security policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Testing - Software, Infrastructure, Cyber.
  • Experience in Information Security.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in operational risk management, internal control or internal audit preferably within a banking and/or IT function.
  • Desirable: Experience in working in a governance or security team.
