About Our Kitchen Team

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Scullery Assistants to join our team at Sydney Domestic Airport.

Our ideal candidates will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional service and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in our kitchens.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Clean and maintain dishwashing machines, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines or hand-washing when necessary.
  2. Properly dispose of waste, garbage, and recycling materials.
  3. Perform cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.
  4. Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
  5. Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Preferred experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Understanding of food safety requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
  • Must have existing full working rights within Australia.
