Supply Chain Optimisation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimisation Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial department, you will play a critical role in driving end-to-end optimisation of our supply chain for the Meat category.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with suppliers and internal logistics teams to deliver supply performance KPIs and prepare contingency plans for unknown supply delays
  • Managing a growing business function with significant spend, delivering aggressive targeted reductions year on year
  • Influencing and working cross-functionally with distribution centres, transport providers, and supply chain operations to improve service levels

You will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to solve supply & demand network operational issues across distribution and transport. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your replenishment and forecasting experience and have a genuine impact in the work you will do.

About You and Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supply planning role, with developed planning and analytical skills
  • Proven understanding of supply chain finance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, where process optimisation and cost reduction has been a focus

You will also have advanced problem-solving capability, with the ability to question process and come up with ideas to mitigate supply risks. Experience in managing supply chain network models and system levers to achieve supply metrics is also essential.
