Research Scientist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Scientist Lead to spearhead AI video generation initiatives. This role involves leading a team of research scientists in developing cutting-edge models that transform text and images into high-quality videos.

The successful candidate will have expertise in machine learning techniques pertinent to video synthesis, such as diffusion models and GANs. They will also possess a strong track record of translating research into scalable, user-facing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor a team of research scientists specializing in video generation.
  • Strategic Direction: Define research agendas aligned with product goals, particularly in AI-driven video creation.
  • Technical Oversight: Guide the development of models utilizing diffusion transformers, GANs, and autoregressive architectures for video and audio synthesis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate research outcomes into the platform.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company in the AI research community through publications, conferences, and open-source contributions.
Requirements
  • Experience leading research teams in AI video or related areas.
  • Expertise in machine learning techniques pertinent to video synthesis.
  • A strong track record of translating research into scalable, user-facing products.
  • Ability to set strategic research directions and align them with business objectives.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
