Senior Security Specialist

Our Digital Technology – Security Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Specialist to join our frontline security team. In this role, you will monitor threats, respond to incidents, and coach developers on secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze potential security threats in real-time.
  • Respond to security incidents and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines for developers.
  • Collaborate with engineering squads and security specialists to identify vulnerabilities and improve the overall security posture of our applications and platforms.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
  • Experience working with edge security platforms like Cloudflare or Akamai is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to detect, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in live environments.
  • Understanding of WAF/WAAP rules, threat analysis, and log monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills and passion for coaching developers.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
