Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our clients team in Dandenong South.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee personnel files and maintain accurate records
  • Provide timely and accurate support and advice on employment entitlements, employment law, and Work Cover processes
  • Conduct recruitment activities, including reference checks and preparing employment contracts
  • Organize short-term labour hire when required and prepare termination documentation
  • Lodge and manage Work Cover claims from lodgement to closure
  • Assist with general HR enquiries and participate in team meetings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in an administration environment
  • Experience and training as a return to work officer
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs

Features:

  • Casual ongoing position with 9 month contract
  • Monday to Friday, day shift, 8 hour days
  • $45 per hour plus super
  • Located in Dandenong South

About the Role:

This role is critical to the provision of timely and accurate support and advice to all stakeholders regarding employment entitlements and conditions, employment law, and Work Cover processes and procedures.

The HR Officer will be primarily responsible for the management of all employee's personnel files, as well as the daily responsibility for Work Cover management and RTW activities within their respective regions.
