About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Designer/UX Specialist to join our team at Easy Authoring. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality business analysis and UX design services to various government initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Research and Analysis: Conduct research with customers using co-design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, prototyping, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights and verify design concepts.
  • Develop Business Solutions: Create documentation identifying business problems, research findings, and develop artifacts to map user pain points, journey maps, service blueprints, and personas to support timely project delivery.
  • Communicate Design Concepts: Communicate design concepts through storytelling and prototypes, ranging from low to high fidelity, including wireframes, click-throughs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Identify and Test Assumptions: Identify, articulate, and test the viability and feasibility of assumptions with customers and stakeholders.
  • Estimate Design Efforts: Contribute to the development of estimates for human resourcing efforts and cost for design activities, and discovery and design phases.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with other areas within the organization to promote the value of great design in achieving positive business and community outcomes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Identify and adopt relevant industry trends into the work of the sections that enable innovative government service delivery.
Essential Requirements
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Diverse Client Experience: Experience in dealing with a diverse range of clients, professionals, staff, and community members.
  • Desirable Industry Experience: It is highly desirable if the candidate has worked in legal or financial sectors.
  • Investigative and Analytical Skills: Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
