We are seeking talented researchers to join our dynamic team in the field of quantitative finance. Our work demands individuals with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for solving complex problems.

Job Overview

The role of a Quantitative Researcher involves exploring new ideas, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with technologists to bring those solutions to life.

  • This process begins with an idea, which can come from anyone within the organization or even externally.
  • The researcher will immerse themselves in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming to investigate that idea.
  • Through their research, they may discover a new pattern that can be transformed into a trading signal.
  • They will work closely with technologists to backtest their results and implement the trading signal into production.
  • Once the signal is embedded in our electronic trading strategies, the researcher will continue to analyze and optimize its performance.
  • This ongoing process involves collaboration with other researchers, strategists, and traders to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong, practical computing skills; proficiency in a specific language is less important than your ability to efficiently and reliably use computers to accomplish tasks.
  • Experience working on in-depth research projects.
