Public Policy and Government Relations Lead

Lead the development and execution of public policy and government relations strategy within Western Australia, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Monitor and analyse political, policy and regulatory developments to anticipate risk and opportunity, and translate insights into strategic advocacy and campaign planning.
- Build and maintain trusted, influential relationships with political stakeholders, government officials, and policy influencers at state and national levels.
- Represent in high-level political and policy forums, advocating for outcomes that support long-term business success and social value creation.
You are a politically astute and policy-minded leader with a proven track record in government relations, advocacy and strategic engagement. You bring deep expertise in navigating complex political and regulatory environments, and understand how to influence outcomes through relationships, evidence and timing.
As a senior leader, you will be known for your ability to elevate teams and drive outcomes. You are a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering insightful, politically attuned advice that connects business strategy with public policy and community expectations.
A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining strong relationships with political stakeholders, government officials, and policy influencers. This requires a deep understanding of the political landscape, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
